  • Parking Lot - Inside your vehicle only
  • Immediately adjacent to one of the Club's public landlines
  • Pool Deck

Making or receiving calls in any other location is strictly prohibited.

The discreet, silent use of mobile devices is permissible, so long as the device is no larger than an iPad and does not offend another member.  Laptop computers may only be used in reserved private rooms.

Males:

Sport shirts with collars, short or long sleeve mock turtlenecks, sweaters, slacks or appropriate length Bermuda shorts and non-metal spiked golf shoes.  Shirts are to be tucked into slacks or shorts.  Parachute cargo pants and shorts, t-shirts of any kind and tennis/coaching shorts are considered inappropriate golf attire.  Gentlemen should always remove caps or hats in the dining areas of the Clubhouse including the Men's Grille.  Juvenile and Junior Scioto golfers will have the same dress code as men.

Blouses, sweaters, skirts, slacks or appropriate length Bermuda shorts and non-metal spiked golf shoes.  Tank tops and spaghetti strap tops are considered inappropriate attire.  Juvenile and Junior Scioto golfers may wear high school, collegiate and LPGA appropriate golf attire.

Playing golf at a reasonable pace is consistent with the traditions of the game and shows proper respect for the other players on the golf course. Slow play is a round exceeding four hours
Tipping is not allowed at Scioto Country Club for club personnel.
Gentlemen are asked to refrain from wearing hats/caps in the Clubhouse.  Hats/caps are to be worn in the manner for which they were intended, i.e., golf visors and baseball-style hats/caps with the brim facing forward.
Casual attire is welcome in Member dining spaces.  Golf attire, tennis attire, business attire with neatly pressed, properly fitted slacks and appropriate shirts with collars.  T-shirts, workout attire or swim wear are not permitted in the Clubhouse. Gentlemen must always have their shirt tails tucked in.
Denim is not permitted in the golf areas, Men's Grille or Men's Grille patio during the Golf Season.  Tasteful and properly fitted denim attire is permitted in the Member Clubhouse dining areas after 4:00 pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends.  Frayed, mottled, or "grunge" denims are not considered "tasteful" for these purposes.   Denim is not permitted in the Ballroom or private event rooms.

Generally "Smart Casual" dress is preferred.  Deviations from the Dress Code must be approved by the General Manager.

Smart Casual – Business attire, sport coats are welcomed, ties are optional.

Formal – Jackets and ties for gentlemen.  Dresses, skirts and business suits for ladies.
